Russia has launched one of the most intense aerial assaults since the beginning of the war, firing nearly 1,000 drones and missiles at Ukraine within just 24 hours. This massive attack marks a serious escalation in the ongoing conflict and raises new concerns about regional and global security.

According to Ukrainian officials, the attack began overnight and continued into the daytime, which is unusual compared to Russia’s previous strategies. Reports suggest that around 900 to 1,000 drones, including Iranian-designed Shahed drones, were launched along with several missiles targeting multiple regions.

Ukraine used a combination of air defense missiles, electronic warfare systems, and mobile defense units to counter the attack. However, authorities warn that continuous large-scale attacks like this could eventually overwhelm their defense capabilities.
